Asked, honestly.
An annual routine checkup is recommended for all women from age 21 onwards — even with no symptoms. Any new or concerning symptoms are worth a visit sooner, regardless of when your last appointment was.
Mildly uncomfortable periods can be normal, but severe or progressively worsening period pain is not something to simply manage with painkillers. It can indicate conditions like endometriosis, adenomyosis or fibroids — all of which are very treatable. Please consult rather than suffering in silence.
PCOS is a hormonal condition affecting roughly 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. Common symptoms include irregular or absent periods, weight gain, acne and excess facial or body hair. It is manageable with lifestyle changes, targeted medication and regular monitoring — and with the right care, does not have to control your life.
A Pap smear takes about 2 minutes. A small brush gently collects cells from the cervix during a brief pelvic examination. It can feel mildly uncomfortable but is not painful for most women. It is recommended every 3 years from age 21, or more often if previous results were abnormal.
Yes. Pre-marital consultations are offered in complete privacy with strict confidentiality. They cover general reproductive health, contraception options, STI screening, HPV vaccination, breast examination and any personal health concerns you would like addressed before marriage.
