Fertility & Conception

Best Infertility Specialist in Vastral, Ahmedabad

Real answers about why it hasn't happened yet.

Struggling to conceive is exhausting in a way few people around you understand. At Kriyansh Women's Hospital, our infertility specialist in Vastral, Ahmedabad — Dr. Jaiminkumar Patel — offers a complete fertility evaluation for both partners and a treatment plan that fits your situation, your age and your budget.

With over a decade in reproductive medicine, his approach is deliberately unhurried and completely private. No pressure towards expensive procedures, and no vague reassurance either. You will be told what the tests show and what your realistic options are.

When should you see a fertility doctor?

The general guidance is to seek evaluation after twelve months of trying without conceiving — or after six months if the female partner is over 35. Come sooner if there are irregular periods, known PCOS or endometriosis, a history of pelvic surgery or infection, or previous pregnancy losses.

Roughly a third of infertility is female-factor, a third male-factor and the rest a combination or unexplained — which is why we always evaluate both partners. Testing only one of you wastes months, and time is the one resource fertility treatment cannot replace.

Comprehensive fertility evaluation

A complete workup for both partners, usually finished within one or two menstrual cycles.

Detailed history for both partners

Cycle pattern, medical and surgical history, lifestyle and occupational factors — often the first clue to the cause.

Hormonal testing & ovarian reserve

AMH, FSH, LH, thyroid and prolactin assessment to establish egg reserve and ovulation quality.

Advanced ultrasound imaging

Antral follicle count, ovarian and uterine assessment, and screening for fibroids, cysts or endometriosis.

Semen analysis for the male partner

Count, motility and morphology assessed early, because male factor is present in nearly half of all cases.

Ovulation tracking

Follicular monitoring across a cycle to confirm whether and exactly when you are ovulating.

Tubal patency assessment

HSG or laparoscopic evaluation to confirm the fallopian tubes are open — a blockage changes the whole plan.

Uterine cavity assessment

Hysteroscopic evaluation of the cavity where implantation failure or recurrent loss is suspected.

Recurrent pregnancy loss workup

Clotting, hormonal and anatomical evaluation for couples who conceive but do not carry to term.

Fertility treatment options

We start with the simplest thing likely to work, and escalate only when it is warranted.

  1. 01

    Timing & lifestyle guidance

For many couples the fix is correcting fertile-window timing, weight, thyroid or vitamin D. It costs nothing to try first.

  2. 02

    Ovulation induction

Medication to restore or strengthen ovulation, with follicular scanning to confirm it is working.

  3. 03

    IUI (intrauterine insemination)

Cycle preparation, monitoring and the IUI procedure — the usual next step for mild male factor or unexplained infertility.

  4. 04

    Laparoscopic fertility surgery

Keyhole correction of endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids or tubal disease — Dr. Patel's lead speciality.

  5. 05

    IVF planning & preparation

Where IVF is genuinely indicated, we prepare you clinically and emotionally and coordinate with a trusted IVF centre.

  6. 06

    PCOS-related fertility care

Insulin, weight and ovulation managed together, since PCOS is among the most common and most treatable causes.

  7. 07

    Male factor coordination

Onward referral and joint planning with andrology where the male evaluation shows a treatable problem.

  8. 08

    Emotional support through treatment

Honest expectation-setting at every step. You will always know the realistic chance of this cycle.

Why families choose Kriyansh for this.

01

Complete privacy, zero judgement

Soundproof consultation rooms and female attendants. Nothing you discuss leaves the room, and no question is treated as silly.

02

No pressure towards IVF

IVF is recommended when it is genuinely indicated. Many couples conceive with far simpler and cheaper treatment, and we will tell you if that is you.

03

Surgical expertise on site

Endometriosis, fibroids and tubal problems are corrected here by laparoscopy, rather than referred out and delayed by months.

Common questions

Asked, honestly.

Twelve months of regular unprotected intercourse without conceiving, or six months if the female partner is over 35. Come earlier if you have irregular periods, known PCOS or endometriosis, previous pelvic surgery or infection, or a history of miscarriage.

Yes, and early. Male factor contributes to roughly 40–50% of infertility cases. A semen analysis is quick, inexpensive and non-invasive, and doing it at the start prevents months of investigating only one partner.

No. IVF is one option among several and is far from the first step for most couples. Many conceive with timing correction, ovulation induction, IUI or laparoscopic correction of a treatable problem. We recommend IVF only when the evaluation genuinely points to it.

It depends on which tests are actually indicated for your case. Dr. Patel discusses the cost of every test before it is ordered, and does not order investigations that will not change the treatment plan. You will never receive a bill you were not told about first.

Completely. Consultations take place in soundproof rooms with female attendants present, and your records are confidential. Many of our patients travel from outside Vastral specifically for that privacy.

Yes — PCOS is one of the most common causes we treat, and one of the most responsive. Treatment usually combines ovulation induction with insulin and weight management. You can read more on our PCOS treatment page.

Come as a couple, if you can.

The first consultation covers both partners. Bring any previous reports, scans or semen analyses — even old ones are useful.
