Normal Delivery Hospital in Vastral, Ahmedabad
We try for a normal delivery whenever it is safe to.
Most women want a normal delivery, and most women can have one. At Kriyansh Women's Hospital, normal vaginal delivery is the default plan — a caesarean is recommended only when there is a clear medical reason for it, and that reason is always explained to you and your family.
Our labour room runs 24×7 with a paediatrician present at every birth. Dr. Jaiminkumar Patel attends your delivery personally — the same doctor who has seen you through every antenatal visit.
Our position on normal delivery
Caesarean rates are high across Ahmedabad, and not all of those operations were necessary. Our approach is straightforward: a well-monitored labour is given the time it needs, and intervention happens when the mother's or baby's condition calls for it — not because it is faster or more convenient.
That said, we will never take a risk with your safety to protect a statistic. If your labour or your baby's condition changes, you will be told immediately and honestly why a caesarean has become the safer option.
What normal delivery care includes
From your first antenatal visit through to going home with your baby.
Structured antenatal care
Regular checkups, scans and blood work across all three trimesters, with a diet plan in your own language.
Birth preparation & counselling
What to expect in labour, when to come in, and what your options are — discussed before, not during.
Continuous labour monitoring
Fetal heart and contraction monitoring throughout labour, so problems are caught early rather than late.
Pain relief options
Position changes, mobility, and epidural analgesia where you want it. Your choice, explained honestly.
24×7 labour room
Fully staffed round the clock. Labour that starts at 3 AM gets the same team as labour at 3 PM.
Paediatrician at every birth
A paediatrician attends the delivery and examines your baby at birth and again at discharge.
Immediate skin-to-skin contact
Your baby is placed with you straight after birth wherever the condition of both of you allows it.
Private, dignified birth suite
Soundproof rooms, female attendants and a family member with you. Privacy is not an add-on here.
After your baby arrives
Delivery is the middle of the story, not the end of it.

VBAC support where suitable
Normal delivery after a previous caesarean is possible for many women. We will assess your case honestly.
Why families choose Kriyansh for this.
01
Normal delivery is the starting assumption
We plan for a vaginal birth and give labour the time it needs. A caesarean is a medical decision here, never a scheduling one.
02
Your own doctor delivers your baby
Dr. Patel attends your delivery himself. You will not meet the doctor performing your birth for the first time in the labour room.
03
Everything on one floor, 24×7
Labour room, operation theatre, paediatric support and emergency care are all in the building and staffed round the clock.
Asked, honestly.
Yes. Normal vaginal delivery is our default plan for every pregnancy, and a caesarean is recommended only when there is a specific medical indication. Labour is given the time it needs, with continuous monitoring so that a change in the mother's or baby's condition is picked up early.
Charges depend on the type of delivery and the room category you choose. We give you a clear estimate during your antenatal visits rather than at discharge, and there are no hidden additions. Ask us at any consultation and you will get a straight figure.
Yes — a paediatrician attends every single delivery, normal or caesarean, and examines the baby at birth and again before discharge. This is built into every birth here rather than being arranged only for high-risk cases.
In many cases, yes. VBAC suitability depends on why the earlier caesarean was performed, the state of your scar, the baby's size and position, and how labour begins. Dr. Patel will give you an honest assessment of your chances and the risks involved, and the decision stays with you.
Yes. One family member can stay with you in the birth suite. The rooms are private and soundproof, and female attendants are present throughout.
Always. The labour room, operation theatre and emergency team are staffed 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including festivals and public holidays.
Planning your delivery, or changing hospitals mid-pregnancy?
Both are completely normal. Bring your reports and we will pick up your care from wherever you are.
