Why women choose keyhole surgery.
An honest, side-by-side look at how modern laparoscopic surgery compares with traditional open surgery.
Most of our keyhole patients walk to the bathroom the same evening and go home the next morning. Recovery is the biggest reason women choose laparoscopy.
No surprises. No rushed appointments.

Asked, honestly.
Yes. All laparoscopic procedures at Kriyansh are performed under general anaesthesia, administered and monitored throughout by a board-certified anaesthesiologist.
Most procedures take between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on complexity. Dr. Patel will give you a realistic time estimate during your pre-op consultation.
Laparoscopic incisions are 5–10mm — typically 3 to 4 small cuts. Over 6–12 months these fade significantly and are usually barely visible. This is one of the major advantages over open surgery.
In rare cases, a conversion to open surgery may be needed mid-procedure for patient safety. Dr. Patel discusses this possibility in every pre-op counselling session. The theatre team is fully prepared for both approaches on every case.
The clinical result is comparable, but recovery is dramatically different. Smaller incisions mean far less post-operative pain, a shorter hospital stay (1–2 days vs 5–7 days), lower infection risk and a return to normal life in 1–2 weeks instead of 4–6 weeks.
